Switchvox has launched its Hosted Edition, a virtual IP-PBX that transfers small business customers to a dedicated on-site appliance. This offering is useful for service providers and office suites that require a higher-density solution to sell to smaller offices, which are often hesitant to purchase hosted phone systems that are unable to grow with their business.
The system includes all of the benefits offered by their on-premise solutions such as the Switchboard, a real-time call control panel, voicemail, call forwarding and voice prompts. A company's current set-up can be transferred seamlessly to a dedicated server installed locally as the organization grows.
"Smaller offices need a reliable and stable phone system, but often cannot afford an on-site solution and are not interested in paying per line when they have intentions of expanding," said Joshua Stephens, CEO. "With this system they now have access to a fully-featured IP-PBX, and ISPs can feel confident approaching this niche market with a product line that can transition with their customers as they grow, instead of being locked into expensive softswitches to provide hosted PBX solutions."
