Bob Mohanty speaks at ITExpo Austin TX, about their new mobility solution and the consolidation of the Vertical product line. Vertical announced their Android version of its ViewPoint Mobile enterprise solution that will help in the delivery of communications to the BYOD community. Bob goes on to highlight the security issues facing the enterprise and how the ViewPoint solution deals with the security issues.

Bob discussed Vertical’s position in the market and how that position has strengthened. Vertical pursues the retail, healthcare and education markets. One of the value propositions of the Vertical approach is the ability for one retail customer to seamlessly update about 2000 sites without significant participation of their customer. He also discussed the debate between cloud vs. on premises solutions.
