Sangoma’s Director of Marketing, Jeff Dworkin discusses their philosophy for their products. Sangoma has been in business for 25 years offering hardware and now software solution to OEMs, resellers and service providers.

Sangoma believes that easy to install and service products not only benefit the reseller but also provides benefits to the enterprise. This product philosophy is demonstrated in their new product called Lync Express. Lync Express reduces the hardware requirements when implementing Lync. It also eliminates the need to integrate third party gateways. The gateway can be included in the configuration. Most Lync implementers are not telephony experts. Sangoma helps these implementers to deliver telephony capabilities.

Sangoma has designed its hardware platforms to be flexible. For example, their gateway may not be needed when an enterprise moves from T1/PRI connections to SIP trunking. The Sangoma gateway hardware can be loaded with Session Border Controller software thereby allowing the enterprise to keeps its core hardware much longer.
