When end points were connected to TDM environment, there were not many problems with voice quality. However as the enterprise migrates to a VoIP based network, what happens in the network affects the call quality. He pointed out that voice quality problems could a bandwidth deficiency, competing video transmissions and /or network congestion. A major point he made during this podcast is that those responsible for voice quality need visibility into all aspects of the network and endpoints so that problem resolution can occur.
