Cloud veteran Tim Myers to lead design, engineering and development of Cbeyond cloud solutions
ATLANTA - May 24, 2012 - Cbeyond), a leading provider of cloud and network services to small and medium sized businesses, today announced the addition of Tim Myers to its executive leadership team as Vice President of Cloud Engineering and Development. In his new role at Cbeyond, Myers will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, engineering and development of Cbeyond cloud solutions including cloud PBX, cloud servers and applications.
Myers joins Cbeyond with more than two decades of engineering experience, including web hosting, e-commerce, database, hardware and software, and virtualization. Before joining Cbeyond, Myers served as Senior Vice President, Emerging Technologies, Enterprise Technology Infrastructure at SunTrust Banks in Atlanta.
As an executive leader at SunTrust, Myers directed a wide range of support, engineering, architecture and delivery responsibilities across all facets of enterprise infrastructure. Most notably, his team oversaw SunTrust’s entire suite of external client facing systems and its largest B2B small and large treasury systems, including mortgage loan systems, online banking, credit card processing and web hosting, to ensure successful completion for billions of annual transactions.

Recently, Cbeyond welcomed Chris Ortbals and Matthew Stevens to the executive leadership team as Vice President of Cloud Services and Vice President of Professional Services, respectively.
