WASHINGTON, D.C. – COMPTEL, the leading trade association for the competitive communications industry, applauded a letter sent by Reps. Anna G. Eshoo, Henry A. Waxman, Edwards J. Markey, Mike Doyle and Doris O. Matsui asking the Federal Communications Commission to move quickly in the special access rulemaking.

“We appreciate the continued leadership exhibited by Members of Congress with regard to special access.  We are pleased that they   are encouraging the FCC to move forward quickly on this critical issue, which has a significant financial impact on competitive communications providers and the businesses that use their services.”
