TEM Market Shifts Focus from Acquisition of Applications and Tools to Outsourcing Key Processes
April 12th 2012: London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Gothenburg and Hong Kong – MDSL, the leading provider of international Market Data Expense Management (MDEM) and Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions, has been positioned as one of four providers in the “Visionary” quadrant in this year’s Gartner Telecom Expense Management Magic Quadrant*.
Ben Mendoza, MDSL CEO, commented: “We are very proud to be acknowledged as a Visionary in this year’s Magic Quadrant, and are delighted to have our efforts and achievements over the last 12 months recognized in this way.
“It’s particularly gratifying, as a multi-national provider covering both the TEM and MDM markets, to have the breadth and diversity of our services and asset base recognized, and to learn that MDSL was ranked by customers in the top quartile on all 15 Service Delivery categories for both Fixed and Mobile service spending . We’re also very pleased to see our work on our partner channel acknowledged, which is an area on which we will continue to concentrate, going forward.”
He continued: “Gartner have noted the shift in the TEM market from software provision to service delivery and support, and that certainly mirrors our own experience and the thrust of our development efforts over the past 12 months. Throughout it all, our primary focus remains on providing the best service for our customers at all times.
“I would like to congratulate all our staff for the hard work they have demonstrated over the last year to ensure we improve on both our performance and our perception in the market – and also for the vision and creativity they have displayed in coming up with some of the ground-breaking new solutions and channel innovations which we will be bringing to the market in the coming few months”.
