Q: I changed the keys on a group of 3905 sets, the ones across the bottom with printed keycaps. I managed to pop off the keycaps with a screwdriver but the soft plastic around the keycaps gets dented, so I wonder if you know a trick that I can use to remove these keycaps?

A: Check with the supplier where you buy the phones. There is a keycap puller designed for that purpose, but don’t be surprised if it’s a special order item. It looks a lot like an IC removal tool—in fact, you might try using an IC tool if you already have one. The two teeth fit under ridges on the ends of the keycaps.
