Broadvox has achieved interoperability certification with Digium’s Switchvox SMB business communications system. This allows resellers to deliver unified communications solutions to SMBs that might not have the budget of large corporations but want to integrate phones, email, chat, video and the Internet to enable better, more efficient communications.

Businesses can achieve up to 70% savings on monthly telecom costs over traditional TDM when they deploy Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking while productivity improves with SIP features and functions such as fax integration, video calling and IVR for building custom applications.

“Digium’s Switchvox is a communications solution for SMBs that need a professional phone system,” said David Byrd, VP of Marketing and Sales. “It is designed to be easy to use and manage, and using it with GO! SIP Trunking can help them better communicate with customers. Switchvox SMB is more than an IP-PBX, it is a web-aware UC solution.”

“The call quality delivered through the Broadvox network helps SMBs take full advantage of the features of Switchvox,” said Bill Miller, vice president of product management at Digium.

Switchvox SMB does not require extra hardware to connect to SIP trunks, and support for PSTN connectivity gives greater flexibility when migrating to IP communications. Broadvox delivers SIP trunking solutions through a private network customized to fit the communications needs of SMBs and enterprises regardless of their existing infrastructure. It offers unlimited local calling and discounted international, long-distance and toll-free.
